Inspiration is something that is much needed during uncertain times like these, and inspiration was what we got in our latest Toastmasters meeting on 16th June. Read on to find out more on what happened.
FIRST PART OF THE MEETING
Olya Purikova led the meeting as the Toastmaster and was assisted by Matt Verrell (Time Keeper) and Dipendra Mistry (Grammarian). Neha Arora (Table Topics Master) helped us paint a wonderful dreamland during the ‘Table Topics’ section of the meeting. This is where members and guests can participate in some impromptu speaking by responding to short questions.

SECOND PART OF THE MEETING
This is where the prepared speeches section comes in and tonight was particularly filled with very inspirational ones!
- Eve Yongo spoke about ‘something ridiculous’
- Will Smith spoke about commitment in ‘starting with Toastmasters’
- Scott Baker questioned ‘can anyone be a leader?’
- Stefanos Antypas teaches us ‘how to nail the job interview’
Thank you to our speakers for providing us with new insight and tips! In order to constantly improve, our evaluators Sarah Bergin, Jon Lam, Louise Taylor and Jonty Rooke gave useful feedback to help our speakers improve in their next speeches.
