Thank you to all our members and most welcomed guests that were able to join us for our latest virtual meeting of Toastmasters!
The meeting started with fun and playful warmup exercises from our meeting’s Toastmaster, Scott Baker, who helped kickstart the meeting into memorable one. This was with the help of our Timekeeper, Saloomeh Mokhtari who volunteered the important role to ensure our meeting would run smoothly and onetime. We also were grateful to have Tom Griffiths who was our meeting’s Sergeant at Arms. Tom helped collect and tally voting slips for our competition winners.
Angus Innes welcomed our table-topics with a superb theme and it was a brilliant turnout to see many of our international guests speak too! Louise Taylor was our Table Topic’s Evaluator to assess the Topic Speakers. We were then given an amazing speech from Christine who talked to us about her incredible journey within Toastmasters and an educational Consensus Workshop from Cristelle! We were very privileged to have such a great variety of speeches this evening end encouraged by our Speech Evaluators, Sarah Bergin and Chris Wood.
Our grand finale was rewarding our meeting’s winners via the audience’s vote. We would like to congratulate:
Christine Harris and Cristelle Delaporte for winning best Speaker
Sarah Bergin for winning the best Evaluator.
