Our last meeting on Tuesday, November 19th was definitely an innovative one! Read on to find out what happened in the meeting.
FIRST HALF OF THE MEETING
- Bhav Ramanathan led the meeting as the Toastmaster for the first time.
- Members and guests had to endure the time related puns that our Timekeeper, Stefanos Antypas came up with.
- Meghna Patel treated challenged everyone to use the word of the day ‘Zonked’.
- As Table Topics Master, Jon Lam took everyone on a journey across a deserted island in the table topics section. Sarah Bergin gave an astonishing evaluation for all 10 Table Topics speakers and managed to stay within the time limit!
- Simone Compagni introduced the guests and asked everyone for their favourite karaoke song.
AFTER THE NETWORKING BREAK
- Olga Purikova completed told everyone ‘why I don’t want to go to my friends’ party’ in her first icebreaker speech.
- Jack Rowson gave his icebreaker speech entitled ‘One Year’.
- Matilda Hay talked about the ‘procrastination monkey’.
- Cristelle Delaporte confessed that ‘I failed but I promise I’ll get better’.
