FIRST HALF OF THE MEETING

  • Jonty Rooke led the meeting as the Toastmaster.
  • Saloomeh introduced a new word of the day for our members and guests to use in their speech.
  • Andrew Twinn handed out fun topics for our guests and members to complete a 1 – 2 minute speech on.

AFTER THE NETWORKING BREAK

  • Diprenda Mistry gave his first icebreaker speech entitled ‘The rice pudding eruption’.
  • James Lagrange spoke about his ‘philosophy in life’.
  • Rachel De Cesaro gave her speech entitled ‘When it hits you, you feel no pain!’.
  • Cristelle Delaporte gave her speech entitled ‘To lead is not to do.
