Speakers from Near and Afar

Another great City of London Toastmasters meeting with speakers from near and afar improving their public speaking skills.

We had yet another great Toastmasters meeting on Tuesday 6th August with speakers from as far as Mauritius!

FIRST HALF OF THE MEETING

  • Matilda Hay stepped up as the Toastmaster for the meeting and did a great job.
  • Ali Siddiqui took on his first role as a Timekeeper.
  • Rachel De Cesaro kept everyone on their toes with her table topic questions.

AFTER THE NETWORKING BREAK

  • Bhavan Ramanathan did his Icebreaker speech – Everyone else is taken.
  • Louise Taylor also completed her Icebreaker speech – Stepping up and sticking with it
  • Neha Arora asked ‘what if we stopped coping?’
  • Zeenat Fugurally came all the way to our club from Mauritius to talk about ‘the life we sign in for’
