In this week’s Toastmasters meeting, the members and guests threw on their reddest of clothing to theme a very red Toastmasters meeting. We had some great competitions this week and here’s how we got on during our virtual meeting:
Our meeting started with our well-known member Angus Innes who introduced our meeting with the agenda and a yoga warm up. There was our time keeper, Olga Purikova. Our grammarian was Scott Baker and we had a great use of pictionary into our Table Topics by Ga Lok Chung. We had many of our members and guests from all over the world enter our Table Topics competition so we had the help of our Sergeant at Arms, Tim Cummins who collected voting slips of our competition winners and Rachel De Cesaro to evaluate on the Table Topics speakers.
Within the second half of the meeting we introduced our speakers Jack Rowson with his speech on ‘Those who think they can’, Sarah Bergin’s speech with ‘The Bossy 22 year old’ and Ranjitha ‘I am remarkable’. Such philosophical and so inspiring speeches, what a fantastic speakers we have here at Toastmasters!
Congratulations to the winners for the evening! A big well done too:
Stefanos for winning Best Table Topics Speaker
Ranjitha for winning Best Prepared Speech Speaker
Neha for winning Best Evaluator
We’d like to thank our members and guests for attending another great meeting.
We look forward to seeing you in our next one on 1st September at 6.30pm (BST).
