After Brad’s mentoring session which replaced the Table Topics section of the meeting we got the pleasure to hear 3 prepared speeches and 3 evaluations.
- Tom presented his Ice Beaker around the theme of trains: “Where is the Next Stop?”
- Laura talked passionately about Goal Setting with a speech titled “Goals for Good” as part of her Leadership Development Pathway Path speech number 3
- Daniel in his 4th speech as part of the Innovative Planning Pathway Path asked us “Are We Free?”.
Laura won the best speech award which was very well deserved and timely as it was her last meeting at the club before moving to New Zealand. Laura, it was a pleasure having you at the club even if only for 6 months, your energy, enthusiasm and passionate spirit was a great addition to our club and we wish you all the best in your travel and hope to have you back in a year or so.
Raoul who evaluated Daniel’s speech won best evaluator of the night. His evaluation structure is an inspiration for us all at the club!
Thank you for making it despite the terribly cold weather, it’s always a pleasure seeing you all making the time to come and visit us!
