This meeting has a conspicuous animal theme. Nicholas, our Table Topics Master for the evening came up with all these wonderful animal themed impromptu questions such as ‘Tail or no tail?’, ‘Are trunks better than noses?’, ‘Would you rather have wings than arms?’… Ga Lok won with his peacock feathered beard impression! *picture someone with a peacock tail as a beard*… pretty funny, right?
Three great prepared speech followed:
- Sabina with ‘What is your Dharma’
- Shamim with ‘You are not a cat’ – Still in the animal theme
- Ravi with ‘Get ready for Tomorrow’s digital world’
Sabina’s won everyone’s heart when encouraging us to find our true passion. Raoul who evaluated her speech, replicated his own great evaluation process (1. structure, 2. body language, 3. vocal variety), which won him best evaluation.
It was a great meeting with lots of new guests and old familiar faces.
Animal theme definitely worked wonders at cheering everyone’s evening!
