Cristelle Delaporte opened up last Tuesday’s evening for the very first time as the official president for 18/19 Toastmasters year, and her words couldn’t be more encouraging!
Our meeting was very entertaining and we had a great number of members and guests attending to it.
In the first half, we had a very interesting round of table topics and the winner was Nick. In the second half, we had 4 great prepared speeches and Sue, with her speech titled From Finchley with Love, won the best speech of the evening. And as always, everyone that participated in the table topics and/or delivered a speech got evaluated, and the best evaluator went to Ga Lok Chung. Congratulations everyone!
We had also a very special visit from our new Area Director Vijaya and Area Assistant Jane, who shared with us their goals for the new year ahead, exciting!
We are looking forward to seeing you on the 31st July from 6.30pm.
