Time flies when you are a Toastmasters’s member, you blink and another Toastmaster’s year has come to an end. This means that from July we have a new committee in place- exciting!!!
The committee election happened on Tuesday during our meeting and we are more than pleased to welcome the new team for 18/19 and cannot thank them enough for accepting their roles. Here it is:

Alongside with the elections, in the first half of the meeting, we had a great round of table topics and the winner was Alex, a very confident guest!
In the second half we had 3 great speeches and Cristelle, evaluation Louise’s speech, got the best evaluation of the evening and finally, Hugh won the best speech, with his very entertaining speech titled Commuting by numbers – Congratulations guys!
Well done also to Tim, Nicholas and Neil, for taking on for the very first time the Toastmasters, Grammarian, and Sergeant of arms roles respectively. You have done a spectacular job!
And finally, we couldn’t finish this post without thanking Tom, our president, for the incredible work done during 17/18 as well as his team, our club is very grateful for all the hard work and effort that you put into the club to ensure its success!
